Acceptance Criteria
- Your vehicle: must not be used for carriage of passengers for hire and reward, for driving instruction or tuition, haulage, competitions or rallies
- Is not a minibus
- Is for carriage of own goods
- Must not exceed 3.5 tonnes (3500Kgs) in gross weight
- Must have 5 seats or less
- Is not solely for social domestic and pleasure use
- Must not be a transporter, concrete mixer, skip carrier, tanker, mobile canteen/food dispensing van, recovery vehicle or an articulated vehicle.
You and all proposed drivers:
- Have not had more than 5 accidents or losses in total, whether you/they have claimed or not and regardless of blame within the last 5 years
- Have not had more than five motoring convictions in total (including fixed penalty endorsements), or anything pending within the last 5 years
- Have a full, provisional or automatic UK driving licence, or an EU or other European licence
- Have not been disqualified under the 'totting up' procedure (TT99 or XX99), within the last five years
- Must not have one of these occupations - waste dealer, circus/fairground worker, musician or showman.
You:
- are a sole trader
are in agreement that it is your responsibility to check all questions and default answers and to amend accordingly if any answers are incorrect.
You, your spouse or your civil partner:
- Are the owner and registered keeper of the vehicle.
